The location of the hotel made our trip to Duncan very nice. It was convenient to a restaurant where we could have a real breakfast. - the hotel was near neighborhoods, restaurants, bars, and Maple Bay.

Good budget hotel in a very very nice area really close to southern Vancouver Island. Great value and brand-new room, a shower, a hairdryer and fresh towels in the room. Central location, within easy walking distance of Cowichan Native Village.

Excellent value. If you are looking for a clean, well priced room, in a basic property, then Motel 8 is it.
It is time for them to upgrade the hallway carpets.

The hotel is part of a complex that has a drinking establishment. The customers of the drinking establishment carried the party on to the parking lot which is located behind the room #107 from 2:00 a.m. on until 4:00 a.m. at which time a woman who must have been staying at the hotel came yelling and running down the hall!! If a person is interested in getting a night's sleep this hotel should not be considered.
